This week on the show, Ryan Keaney was delighted to be joined by Jeff Livingstone, Ben Shave and David Hartrick – the three editors of the critically acclaimed In Bed With Maradona.
In something close to conjunction with “The 100″ project currently running on IBWM, we discussed young footballers from all four corners of the globe, youth development in many of the major nations and even went so far as to write off the careers of some of the players featured on the list.
Mario Gotze, Jack Wilshere, Mario Balotelli, Shinji Kagawa, Neymar and Marcos Reus were all discussed at length and in positive light. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Ben Sahar, Gael Kakuta and a couple of other youngsters.
It is a bit of a long show and for that, we are very sorry. We’ll release it in two parts later in the week so that’ll make it more manageable.
